Rutland Mental Health Services has again received CARF accreditation for three years. CARF is quoted to say "This achievement is an indication of the organization's dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. Services, personnel, and documentation clearly indicate an established pattern of practice excellence." The CARF (The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Survey was held on October 7-9, 2009. Every three years, Rutland Mental Health Services is surveyed by this international organization. CARF's mission statement is: To promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served. 2009 Employee of the Year
Shawna Eastman-Lane has been named Employee of the Year for Community Care Network. Shawna has worked for Rutland Mental Health Services since 1999 as a Success School Counselor. This honor was given to her because she encourages children and staff to be the best they can. She helps children develop a sense of self-worth by her positive interactions and constant encouragement. Shawna is one of the four Don LaRouche Spirit Award winners. |
