Evergreen Substance Abuse Services, a Program of Rutland Mental Health Services, Inc. is seeking a person with demonstrated leadership qualities to guide, facilitate, and develop its services. Evergreen, with an annual budget of $1.5 million and 19 staff, is widely recognized for the excellence of the evidenced based services it provides including outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment, specialized programming including gender specific and co-occurring capable treatments, services to populations with unique treatment needs such as individuals with criminal justice involvement, clinical and case management support for Medication Assisted Treatment, and Project CRASH. Evergreen is designated as a Preferred Provider by the Vermont Office of Drug and Alcohol Programs and its programs are accredited by CARF.
The successful candidate must have or be eligible for Licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the State of Vermont. Eligibility for Mental Health treatment credenitaling of psychiatric and substance abuse disorders in adults; proven ability to enhance program and staff performance; strong communication and relationship building skills; knowledge of regulatory and accredition processes; ability to assit in the development and management of budgets; and the ability to collaborate with other individuals, agencies and providers in the development of new initiatives.
