Community Care Network names Stephen Conti new Chief Financial Officer

Rutland, Vt. – Community Care Network (CCN) is pleased to announce that it has hired Stephen Conti as its new Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Conti will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization including financial planning, reporting, analysis and strategy, as well as management of CCN’s finance, billing, facilities and information technology departments.
“I am excited to join the Community Care Network team and apply my expertise to help build robust financial frameworks that support our mission and drive our organizational success into the future,” said Conti. “The financial landscape of health care is constantly evolving, demanding continuous learning and adaptation to ensure long-term sustainability, and I look forward to helping CCN - alongside my colleagues, meet these challenges moving forward.”
Conti, who most recently served as Director of Finance with Gifford Health Care, Inc. in Randolph, Vermont, takes over for outgoing CCN Chief Financial Officer, Jim DiCosimo, who is set to retire in June after serving the agency since 2016.
“Vermont’s health care and social service landscape is undergoing profound and complex transformation—particularly in how services are funded and sustained,” said Dick Courcelle, Chief Executive Officer of Community Care Network. “Steve brings experience navigating evolving health care financing models, and his leadership at Gifford Health Care demonstrated a strong ability to adapt financial strategy to support mission-driven care. His expertise will be invaluable as CCN repositions itself for long-term sustainability and impact.”
Prior to holding the position of Director of Finance, Conti also served in the roles of Controller, Lead Accountant and Staff Accountant with Gifford Health Care, Inc. Additionally, before joining Gifford Health Care, Inc., Conti worked as a Staff Accountant/Auditor for Batchelder Associates in Barre, Vermont.
A graduate of St. Michael’s College, Conti has also been active in volunteer work in Vermont, including serving as the current volunteer treasurer for both the Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST) and Sno-Bees of Barre Snowmobile Club.
